Clarity, care, and consent, so you can focus on your healing.

Grounded Care with Transparent Foundations

Integrative services for adults navigating chronic illness, anxiety, and the long-term impact of stress and trauma.

Your care is a meaningful investment of your time, energy, and resources. At Lumara Integrative Health, transparency is part of how I practice: by making rates and policies clear, compassionate, and easy to navigate.

Individual Therapy

Telehealth Only | Adults (18+) Physically Located in Illinois

Sessions are held via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform and paced to your needs. Together, we collaborate on goals that reflect your lived experience, healing priorities, and capacity.

  • Initial Appointment (Intake Session) (60 minutes): $225
A comprehensive first appointment where we review your history, current concerns, and goals. This helps create a clear and individualized plan for therapy.
  • Ongoing Individual Session (53 minutes): $200
A standard therapy hour that allows for deeper therapeutic work. This format is widely recognized by insurance companies and ensures time for both reflection and integration.

Rates reflect not only the session itself but also the training, preparation, and expertise I bring into your care.

Psychological Testing

Adults (18+) | In-Person Testing in Chicago

Psychological evaluations are comprehensive, time-intensive assessments structured differently from psychotherapy. Clinical interviews may be completed via telehealth. Formal testing takes place in person in Chicago.

  • Comprehensive Adult Psychological Evaluation: $3,200

A flat evaluation fee covering the full scope of clinical work involved, including the initial interview, in-person testing, scoring and interpretation, a written report, and a feedback session. Not billed per session.

If testing proceeds following the intake, the fee is split into two payments: $1,600 to confirm the testing appointment and $1,600 prior to the feedback session. If testing does not proceed following the intake, a $350 intake fee applies for services rendered.

Testing is offered on a private-pay basis. Insurance is not billed directly for evaluations. A superbill may be provided upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

For a full description of what the evaluation involves, visit the [Psychological Testing] page.

  • A brief consultation call (20 to 30 minutes) to determine fit and scope
  • A comprehensive initial evaluation appointment (120 minutes)
  • In-person cognitive and psychological testing, typically completed in one longer session or two shorter sessions
  • Scoring, interpretation, and clinical integration of all administered measures
  • A comprehensive written report (typically 8 to 12 pages) with diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations
  • A 60-minute feedback appointment to review results and next steps

Coverage for psychological testing varies widely by plan, and reimbursement is not guaranteed. You are responsible for confirming your own benefits, including whether psychological testing is covered and any applicable deductibles or reimbursement limits.

While I am happy to provide appropriate documentation, insurance companies determine reimbursement independently and may deny or partially reimburse testing services.

  • Format: 75-90 minutes
  • Rate: $60 per session

Groups I anticipate offering include:

Clinical Supervision

I offer virtual supervision and consultation for doctoral trainees, early-career psychologists, licensed clinicians, and coaches seeking guidance through an integrative, trauma-informed, and relational lens. • Individual supervision (50 to 55 minutes, virtual): $200
  • Case consultation for therapists or coaches (50 to 55 mins, virtual): $160 per hour

Group Supervision

I am in the process of forming a virtual group supervision for therapists and psychologists interested in learning in a collaborative setting.

  • Format: 90 minutes, 4 to 6 supervisees per group (virtual)

Payment, Insurance & Billing

All clients are required to keep a card on file. Payments are securely processed through the client portal using AutoPay, which runs automatically on the evening of the day of service. This ensures billing is seamless and allows us to focus fully on the work together.

Psychological testing follows a separate payment structure outlined in the Psychological Testing section above.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards
  • HSA and FSA cards (connected to major card processors)

Through your portal, you will have access to:

  • Session invoices
  • Payment history
  • Superbills (for out-of-network reimbursement)

I am currently in-network with BCBS PPO for psychotherapy services. Testing is private-pay only; see the Psychological Testing section above for details.

Your out-of-pocket cost depends on your specific plan details, such as deductibles, copays, and coinsurance. I will help you review your benefits during our consultation, but your insurance provider determines the final cost of each session.

How it works: Your card will be charged at the full session rate on the evening of the day of service. After your claim is processed, BCBS determines your actual responsibility (such as copay, coinsurance, or deductible). If you overpaid, the difference will be applied as a credit to your account or refunded. If additional payment is required, your card will be billed accordingly.

This approach ensures sessions are always paid on time while minimizing unexpected balances later.

For insurance plans other than BCBS PPO, I am considered an out-of-network provider.

  • Payment is processed at the time of service via AutoPay
  • I provide monthly superbills through your portal that you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement
  • HSA and FSA cards are accepted for pre-tax payment

Many clients choose to work out-of-network to protect privacy, increase flexibility, and receive more personalized care.

Clients are responsible for verifying their benefits. Helpful questions to ask your insurance provider include:

  • What is my out-of-network coverage for outpatient psychotherapy?
  • Do I have a deductible, and how much of it has been met?
  • What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?

Yes. If you are using insurance, I am required to assign a mental health diagnosis and confirm your attendance for each session. This is standard practice across all insurance plans.

If you prefer not to have a diagnosis shared with your insurer, you may choose to pay privately, offering greater confidentiality and autonomy in your care.

Cancellation & Missed Session Policy

The following applies to psychotherapy appointments. Testing follows a separate cancellation policy outlined in the testing consent.

Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. Because it is unlikely that I can fill a canceled spot on short notice, I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

  • Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged at the full session fee
  • This policy supports consistency in your therapy and allows me to hold availability for all clients
  • I understand that true emergencies and unexpected crises sometimes arise. In those rare circumstances, I will use discretion and may waive the fee

How to cancel or reschedule:

  • Log in to your client portal
  • Or send a secure message through the portal

Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act)

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before services begin if you are uninsured or paying out of pocket. This estimate will be provided in writing and is meant to help you understand and anticipate the costs of your care.

Reduced Fee Options

I believe healing should be accessible. To support financial equity, I hold a limited number of reduced-fee slots for clients with financial need.

If you would like to explore this option, please feel free to inquire about availability. If no slots are open, I am happy to provide referrals to trusted low-fee providers and training clinics in the area.

Additional Services & Future Offerings

As Lumara grows, I look forward to offering:

  • Community workshops
  • Additional mind–body and nervous system-informed services
