Collaborative, trauma-informed psychotherapy and psychological testing for adults navigating chronic illness, anxiety, trauma, and complex medical concerns.
I provide depth-oriented psychotherapy to clients throughout Illinois or a PSYPACT-participating state, and in-person comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations in Chicago. My clinical focus is the intersection of mental health and medical complexity, including chronic disease, anxiety, and ADHD. I work closely with referring providers to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
When to Refer
Referrals are appropriate for adults (18+) experiencing:
- Chronic health conditions or complex medical needs, including autoimmune, inflammatory, post-viral, endocrine, gastrointestinal, environmentally linked illnesses (e.g., mold illness or MCS), and pain-related concerns
- Anxiety, panic, or persistent health-related stress, including illness anxiety or medical-procedure stress
- Functional somatic symptoms or ADHD
- Stress-related or trauma concerns, including complex PTSD or dissociation
- Grief, burnout, or identity-related life transitions
- Mood or emotional concerns (e.g., depression, adjustment stress)
I am especially experienced with patients whose psychological symptoms are entangled with their medical picture, where standard therapy referrals may not have been a good fit in the past. I am comfortable reviewing medical records, understanding the psychological impact of diagnoses and treatments, and working with medically complex presentations rather than around them.

Collaborative Care
I work from the belief that mental and physical health are deeply interconnected. Many clients navigating chronic illness and medical complexity do best when their providers are communicating with each other.
In practice, coordination with referring providers typically includes:
- Confirming receipt of the referral and closing the loop on whether the client engaged
- Sharing brief clinical updates or coordination notes at meaningful treatment milestones (with written client consent)
- Aligning on treatment priorities so that psychological care complements medical treatment rather than operating separately
- Connecting through secure messaging, brief phone calls, or shared documentation, depending on what works best for your workflow
For testing referrals, the referring provider receives a copy of the full written evaluation report (with client consent), including diagnostic impressions, clinical recommendations, and any suggested follow-up. If you have specific referral questions you would like addressed in the evaluation, those can be incorporated into the assessment.
My integrative approach draws on somatic, relational, and depth-oriented modalities, including ACT, and trauma-focused interventions. The focus is always on supporting your patient’s capacity for self-regulation, engagement with their medical care, and overall quality of life.
You can expect clear communication, respect for your clinical role, and a genuine focus on the client’s autonomy and wellbeing.
