Anchored in Values. Guided by Integrity

These are the principles that guide how we care: for bodies, stories, systems, and the spaces between.

These core values for integrative therapy guide how we listen, collaborate, and create space for healing across therapy, psychological testing, supervision, and consulting.

Integrity in Practice

Clarity. Courage. Follow-through.
We align our care with our ethics: steadily, transparently, and with courage. At Lumara, integrity shows up in how we make decisions, hold boundaries, and stay accountable, with clients, with colleagues, and with ourselves.
We live our values in practice, even when it is inconvenient. Integrity is not perfection. It is accountability, clarity, and care.

Relational Presence

Connection as medicine.
Healing happens in relationship, through safety, attunement, and mutual respect. We show up with authenticity, not performance. Our presence is grounded, warm, and attuned to what each person needs in the moment.
Whether in therapy, supervision, or consultation, we create spaces where co-regulation is possible and complexity is welcome.

Joy + Meaning

What makes life feel worth living?
Healing is more than symptom relief. It is a return to what matters. We honor pain, but we do not let it become the whole story. We welcome laughter, creativity, awe, and ritual as essential to the therapeutic process.
Aliveness is not a luxury. It is a right reclaimed in the aftermath of trauma.

Core values for integrative therapy. Contextual Awareness. Sunlight filtering through the branches of a large tree, representing healing within history, systems, and cultural humility at Lumara Integrative Health.

Contextual Awareness

Healing within history and systems.
Distress does not arise in a vacuum, and neither does healing. We recognize that suffering often stems from disconnection, injustice, and systemic harm, not personal failure.
Our work is grounded in cultural humility, environmental awareness, and a commitment to justice. We honor how identity, history, and environment shape what healing requires, and we actively engage in anti-oppressive and anti-racist practice as part of that commitment.

“What we practice at the small scale sets the pattern for the whole system.”

Embodied Vitality

Sustainable healing over quick fixes.
Wellness is a rhythm, not a destination. We support long-term, embodied healing through practices that honor the body’s wisdom, the nervous system’s pace, and the cycles of nature.
We resist burnout culture and the myth of productivity-as-worth. Instead, we nurture regulation, spaciousness, and deep rest.
